Marinablu International Ltd is run by David and Anna Coulling
from the UK, and was started by us, almost by accident. We initially went to
Spain for a long term break from corporate life, to recharge our batteries,
and to invest in property in Spain, whilst having a break. Within a short
time we discovered that berths, were not only in short supply, but had
increased dramatically in value over the last ten years. We assumed, that we
would be able to finance the purchase using the berth as the asset and using
a Spanish bank. We were subsequently told that this was impossible, and
having been set the challenge we decided to find a lender.
It took some time but we found a bank would was prepared to advance against the berth itself. This set us wondering, whether other owners would be interested in this facility, and hence Marinablu was born! That was 2 years ago, and since then we have added several other specialist financial services for boat owners, both in the UK and Europe

From our small beginnings, we have since developed our marine financial services to include Italian and French boat leasing finance solutions, marine mortgages for both the UK and European clients, yacht insurance and currency services. We are constantly adding new suppliers and services to our portfolio as the markets develop, so if you have found something which you feel might be of interest, please do drop us a line.
Boat Leasing Finance - Our Business Philosophy
Our philosophy in business is very simple. We will always try to respond to your enquiries as quickly as possible, generally within a few hours or the same day at the latest. Please remember we are not tax experts, and can only give guidance. If you do need specialist advice please consult an expert.
We will always try to get your quotes to you as quickly as possible, and for marine mortgages, this is generally either the same day, or at latest next day. Leasing quotes can take a little longer, for two reasons. Firstly we are dealing with Europe, where life moves more slowly, and secondly the quotes are a little more complicated and take time to prepare - so please bear with us.
Boat Leasing Finance - Our Charges
As a broker, we do not charge for any of our services - they are all provided free of charge. We are paid an introducing commission by the finance house or bank, and as such, this costs you no more than dealing with them on a direct basis. The benefit to you is that for one email to us, we will then make all the enquires for you, and give you a variety of quotes to choose from, saving you a considerable amount of time.
As you will see we are regulated by the Office of Fair Trading.
