dramatically over the last few years. In some cases the berths are now
costing more than the boats. Whilst it is possible to rent, many clients are
now buying a berth, not only as a place for the boat, but also as a long
term investment.
Until recently, if you required finance for your berth, the bank would require a second asset, such as a house, to provide the collateral. Following many months of work, we are now able to provide finance for your berth, using local Spanish banks, and using the berth as the collateral for the loan.
